Talk to me of towers!
I am an anthropologist studying the ideology of the construction of towers. I would love to talk a little babut the relation between the little made large and the large made little.

Hi
Obviously being an artist my response to my subjects is initially visual and emotive. But I am always interested in going deeper. Please you have to tell me what ‘the little made large and the large made little’ means…I am intrigued. And I would love to hear more about the ideology of the construction of towers!

the little made large and the large made little is just an observation at the moment but one I want to think more about.
It centres on the physicality of towers and responses to them. An architect told me the construction of towers is all about the phallus – the little made big – and your towers are microcosms – tiny perfect reditions of your imaginings – the big made little – and to stretch the metaphor even further, if architects are the little made big then perhaps your towers are the small made smaller!
i truly adore the beauty of your work – its like ballet – you dont see the precison of the effort, the honing of the craft, the hours of effort and tears because your (well me) are lost in the beauty!
thank you.
I can wait to come see your work when next Im in christchurch.
